Dyson expanded into a new product category in 2026 with the launch of the Dyson CameraJet, a toothbrush that combines brushing, precision flossing and mouth rinsing in a single system. The product was unveiled in Paris on September 1, 2026, following six years of research and development.
The CameraJet features an integrated 100,000-pixel macro camera designed to identify gaps between the teeth while brushing. Dyson’s machine-learning technology, called Gap Optical Targeting, analyzes images in real time and directs a targeted jet of mouthrinse toward spaces between the teeth.
The device also uses variable sonic technology and a dual-bristle brush head designed to clean the tooth surface and gumline. Dyson developed a specialized conical jet system for delivering mouthrinse between the teeth, with research conducted alongside the National University of Singapore’s Faculty of Dentistry.
The CameraJet connects to the MyDyson app, which provides guided cleaning, coverage mapping and brushing and flossing insights. Dyson says the camera operates during live viewing or automatic jetting and that images are not stored on the device or in the cloud.
Alongside the toothbrush, Dyson introduced its own toothpaste and mouthrinse designed for use with the CameraJet system. The product launched on September 1, 2026, through Dyson’s website, Dyson Demo Stores and selected retailers.
The launch represents a new category for Dyson, whose products have traditionally focused on areas such as floorcare, haircare, air treatment and household technology. The CameraJet extends the company’s technology portfolio into oral care by combining imaging, machine learning and fluid-jet technology in a single device.
The name CameraJet reflects the product’s two central technologies: its integrated camera and its precision jet system. Rather than following the naming of Dyson’s existing product categories, the name introduces a term directly connected to the technology behind the new device.
With CameraJet, Dyson has introduced a new product category for the brand while bringing its technology-focused approach into the oral-care market.
